Los Angeles Musician Hearing Protection Clinic
MusiCares, in coordination with AFM Local 47, will offer custom hearing protection services to area music professionals on Monday, November 18 from 10am-4pm. Services provided by Dr. Jenna Paley and the audiology experts at Project Decibel. Services will include visual ear exam and ear impressions for custom-fit musician earplugs with costs covered entirely by MusiCares. Attendees can expect to receive their earplugs via US Mail approximately 6-8 weeks following the event. Only a limited number of appointments will be available to eligible music professionals* who pre-register online and qualify. Appointment times will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis after pre-registering.
No walk-ins. All participants must be pre-qualified in advance through MusiCares.
* To qualify each participant must complete advance registration forms, and able to document at least five years professional music career history, or commercial recording credits.
